Samsung S23 FE News (1)

We as Samsung Fans, eagerly waiting for the launch of the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 smartphones in Seoul on July 26th, we can expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in the following months. Samsung is preparing to expand its Galaxy S23 series by introducing another member. The upcoming Galaxy S23 family member is set to make its debut in the market, as indicated by benchmark scores.

In North America, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. A recent Geekbench listing has unveiled information about the Samsung device, identified by the model number SM-S7711U1 and codenamed “taro.” Under the hood, the device is expected to feature either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or a slightly underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, featuring a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz.

The presence of “U1” in the model number signifies that the phone is specifically intended for North American markets, namely the United States and Canada. According to the listing, the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE achieved a multi-core score of 3,718 and a single-core score of 1,549.

Earlier, the smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench with the model number SM-S711B and Samsung’s Exynos 2200 chipset. This model number typically corresponds to other global markets, excluding South Korea, Samsung’s home country. Both listings also confirm that the upcoming phone will come equipped with 8GB of RAM. If any indications of a third model, “SM-S711E,” emerge, it is possible that the phone may still launch with a Snapdragon chipset in India. Recently, Samsung introduced the Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE in India.
