Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 global variant spotted on Geekbench

Samsung is all set to launch its upcoming and new foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul. These new foldable phones will be launched on August 11, 2023 in the US and Canada markets. Now ahead of the official debut, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 global variant is now spotted on Geekbench.

To recall, the first Galaxy Z Fold 5 benchmark was spotted back in March for the USA variant. Now, the new global variant’s single-core performance score is lower than the US variant as reported by SamMobile.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will launch running Android 13 out of the box instead of Android 14. The device is expected to run One UI 5.1.1 version. In single-core it got 1845 points while in multi core it received 5083 score.

Earlier, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 official-looking render indicates that it will come with a triple rear camera setup on the back, which again looks familiar from the Galaxy Fold 4. The only difference we can see as the upcoming Galaxy Fold 5 might pack in a slimmer bezel compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
