June 16, 2023: Samsung Galaxy S21 Series users are now getting June 2023 security update in India with the firmware version G996BXXU8EWF1 and an installation package size of 465.18 MB.
June 12, 2023: Samsung has started rolling out the June 2023 security update to the Galaxy S21 series in Switzerland. Other regions could get the new security update within the next couple of weeks. Last week we reported that after May 2023 update, the Galaxy S21 lineup owners reportedly got the pink line issue on the screen.
The all-new June 2023 security software update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra is rolling out with firmware version G998BXXU8EWF1/G998BOXM8EWF1/G998BXXU8EWF1.
The update includes the June 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws found in Galaxy phones and tablets. Some of those flaws are related to Exynos chips and the Knox security suite.
You can now download the new update by navigating to Settings > Software update > tapping Download and Install.
