A reliable Twitter tipster has recently revealed important information regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable smartphones. These devices are scheduled to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul at the end of July 2023.
This year, the South Korean tech giant will bring key enhancement to the Z Flip 5 lies in its larger secondary display, which Samsung will market as a useful display for viewing notifications, controlling media playback, and capturing selfies using the primary camera. Additionally, the smartphone will offer support for Wi-Fi 6E and USB 3.2.
In terms of the Z Fold 5, it will be 10 grams lighter and 0.8 millimetres thinner (when folded) compared to its predecessor. The telephoto lens resolution will also see an increase, growing from 10 to 12 megapixels. However, the remaining specifications remain unchanged. While there were rumours of Samsung certifying both devices for dust protection, the SnoopyTech leak only mentions water resistance, maintaining the IPX8 rating similar to the current generation.
