Samsung has recently released the huge June 2023 update for its Galaxy S23 series. However, the company has temporarily halted the rollout in some regions. This update brings several new features and improvements, particularly in the camera department. One notable addition is the 2x zoom option for portrait shots, and one more option in the camera settings. Samsung has also addressed the “banana blur” issue that caused blurry patches in photos taken with the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+.
As per the changelog, the system animations and transitions have also been fixed, resulting in a smoother navigation experience. The update also includes the latest security patch, which addresses more than 60 vulnerabilities.

Now, according to the information, the June 2023 camera update for Galaxy S23 Ultra UAE users is rolling out with the firmware version S918BXXU2AWF1. Download the latest update by simply navigating to the Software update menu and selecting Download and Install to check for any pending OTA updates. Samsung may release the update to other markets soon.
