Samsung is expected to launch its next-generation foldable phone the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 along with other devices at the upcoming Unpacked event by the end of July.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will introduce a notable upgrade compared to its predecessor, particularly the company will bring a large cover screen on the rear side. The cover screen is expected to measure 3.4 inches with a resolution of 720p. The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup and a unique folder-like icon design to maximize available space.
In terms of core specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Additionally, the upcoming foldable flip phone is said to be backed by a 3,700mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 25W.
