June 22, 2023: Verizon has started rolling out the new June 2023 security software update to the Note 20 Ultra users in the US. The latest update is rolling out with the firmware version N986USQU4HWF1. This new update includes the June Android security patch, while Verizon claims that it “provides performance improvements and the most up to date Android security patches on your device.”
June 17, 2023: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone users are now getting the June 2023 security patch update in the UAE. The firmware version HWC9 brings more than 60 security fixes that address potential vulnerabilities in the phones, making them more secure.
To recall, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series was launched with Android 10 onboard, and users have received subsequent Android OS updates, including Android 11, 12, and 13 in late 2020, 2021, and 2022, respectively.
In order to install the latest software update on the above-mentioned devices, you need to head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
