Breaking: Galaxy Watch 6 Classic official leak images shows thin bezels

The South Korean tech giant Samsung will launch the new smartwatch – Galaxy Watch 6 Series during the upcoming Unpacked event which is scheduled for July 2023.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will come with a diverse range of editions, all powered by the Samsung Exynos W930 SoC, each with a unique clock speed. Additionally, select models feature an integrated LTE modem, allowing these smartwatches to maintain internet connectivity even without a connected smartphone.

Now, the official renders of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic have been leaked by WinFuture. As per the leak, Samsung will launch the new Galaxy Watch 6 in two sizes: 40 mm and 44 mm in diameter. While the external dimensions remain unchanged, Samsung has made improvements to the display, incorporating slightly larger OLED panels. While the exact screen diameters are not yet known, the reduction in bezel size indicates a visually larger display.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Watch 6 with durable sapphire glass, ensuring increased resistance to scratches. The watch will be available in a wide array of colors, including black and silver. Additionally, a beige version is expected.

The company is looking to introduce the new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in black and silver initially reported WinFuture. The Classic variant of the Watch 6 will reintroduce the beloved rotating bezel. It features a slightly wider edge around the display, which remains the same size as the standard editions of Samsung watches.

The Classic version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will be offered in two sizes as well – 43 and 47 mm, setting itself apart from the more budget-friendly models. One notable distinction is the use of a sophisticated leather strap, adding a touch of luxury to the timepiece.

Just like its counterparts, the Classic edition of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is designed to withstand water exposure, boasting a robust water resistance rating of up to 5 ATM.
