Galaxy S21 Series owners reporting pink link issue after May update

In the first week of June 2023, Samsung released the May 2023 security patch for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra owners in India. The series already received this update in several countries including Europe, Korea, the US, and more. As per the official bulletin, in the May 2023 security patch, the company fixes more than 70 issues including 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate level of common vulnerability exposures.

Issues related to the Bootloader, App lock, Call Settings, and Telephony framework are resolved. The S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra update was rolled out with the firmware versions G991BXXS7EWD3, G991BXXS7EWD3, and G991BXXS7EWD3 respectively.

Now, according to several users (via Samsung Community) of the Galaxy S21 lineup, the pink line started appearing after installing the May 2023 update. The issues are mainly occurring on Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
