WhatsApp Android Beta Brings Redesigned Emoji, Community Settings and more

Subsequently, the redesigned WhatsApp emoji keyword is accessible with the WhatsApp beta version 2.23.12.13 on Android. Now it is available to download for free from the Google Play Store. Although, since it is a gradual release, thus users are not able to see new designs right away. On the other hand, the only possible way to see is to install/update to the recent beta. Further, heading to any individual or group chat, and tapping on the emoji keyboard.

Also, the new WhatsApp emoji keyboard has three tabs at the top. And these tabs are there for emojis, GIFs, and stickers. The alterations are conveniently enabled to switch across the three sections. While tapping specifically on tiny icons on the emoji keyboard that are made available to stable version users. Also, for browsing emoji categories, the section has shifted toward the bottom.

The other change in the recent WhatsApp beta is primarily related to the Community. As presently this only has one setting, now it lets community admins decide who can add groups to the respective community. Thereby, they are able to choose between one community admin and all community members. Also, if the latter has opted then all members of a community will be able to add groups, even though they are not admins.

In addition to this, WhatsApp is progressively working on allowing users to share HD-quality images with each other. However, the feature is in its beta release but tends to be one of the most awaited features of this time. Since the platform compresses the image resolution before sending that spoils the taste. The only possible way is to share it as a document. But with native HD support, the process becomes much simpler.

Further, here it allows the user to choose whether they want to transfer/share an image in Standard Definition (SD) or High Definition (HD). The high-quality images will come with an HD tag next to them, thereby, they would be easily recognizable. In contrast, it is substantially beneficial for users with a limited or slow data connection. As the user here is able to download HD images afterward when they have sufficient or faster data.
