May 11, 2023: Samsung releases May 2023 to over 15 Galaxy devices. Now, more Samsung phones are getting the May update to the Galaxy S20, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 4, and Galaxy A23 in the Netherlands.
The Galaxy S20 Series is getting the May 2023 security patch update with the firmware version G98**XXSGHWD4 while the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 get the latest patch with the build numbers F936BXXS2CWD9 and F721BXXS2CWD9. The Galaxy A23 is getting the May patch with the firmware version A236BXXS3CWD4.
The May 2023 security patch fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy devices. The update could be released in more regions soon.
You can download and install the May 2023 security update on your smartphone by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and Install.
