Samsung is gearing up to launch its new foldable smartphone the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in July 2023. The company is also expected to roll out Android 14-based One UI 6.0 later this year to most of its Samsung devices. The South Korean tech giant may follow the last year’s One UI 5.0 rollout schedule.
Galaxy S23 Series One UI 6 Beta Rollout Details
Now, ahead of any official details, a reliable tipster Tarun Vats confirmed that the upcoming One UI 6.0 beta for the Galaxy S23 Series to start in mid-July 2023. The tipster also says that the new beta schedule ma rollout around mid-August 2023.
Apart from the rollout information, the other details are yet to be out. Meanwhile, with the One UI 6.0, Samsung is expected to bring in all the major changes Google has announced with Developer Preview and Beta versions. No doubt, the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 series is the first eligible S series flagship to get the One UI 6 update.
This will likely be followed by updates to the foldable devices 一 Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The update is also likely to arrive on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which are expected to launch around August this year.
Also, the company may bring features like new gesture navigation, an updated sharing menu, pre-app language preference, and most of the new lock screen and home screen options announced at Google IO 2023 with the Android 14 Beta 2.
