1. Vibration for App Notifications
There are some apps that still trigger vibrations even with your app notifications turned off, making it hard to pinpoint the culprit. Identify the apps you installed recently and disable all notifications in their notification settings to solve this. Go to Settings > Notifications > See All Apps, select an app you suspect might be causing the random vibration, and toggle off all notification categories. Also, clear the cache and data or restart your Android device if the vibrations are due to background apps running unchecked.
2. Touch Feedback
In case you have turned on your phone’s haptic feedback accidentally causing any random touch on your screen or keypad to go all abuzz. You can turn off vibrations from touch interactions or inadvertent touch in settings.

For example, there could be vibrations for no reason at all. Updating your Android software can help eliminate a lot of these bugs. Also, a simple restart you can do to get your problem solve, if your phone software is up-to-date. If that doesn’t solve the issue, you may consider factory resetting your phone.
4. Hardware Issues
To test to see if anything is amiss with the motor that could be setting off the vibration, you could run a secret hardware diagnostic menu. If you use a Samsung device, you can as well run a hardware diagnostic test via the Samsung Members app. Along with software glitches, continuous vibrations may indicate underlying hardware issues, like a faulty vibration motor.
