Google need to come with more foldable to compete with Samsung

The rise of the foldable market has collectively condensed, credit goes to Google’s entry into the segment with the Pixel Fold. At the same time, for Samsung, this is not the point of worrying about competition from Google. Since its Pixel Fold launch is limited to some countries. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold line is approaching virtually everywhere around the globe.

Even if the Pixel Fold is able to accumulate a sizable number of customers from Samsung. The Korean giant will have the Galaxy Z Flip product line, in order to maintain its dominance in the foldable market as Google has no Flippable device to offer. Although, it seems Google strategizes to come up with its clamshell foldable alongside the Pixel Fold. But later alter the idea. The information is confirmed by the search giant head of design for hardware products, Ivy Ross.

Galaxy Z Flip competitor in the work

Ross has disclosed that Google had been working on two foldable devices. On the other hand, it doesn’t reveal that other devices also follow the clamshell design. Therefore, it clearly depicts that the Search giant is not working on two foldable with the book-like design of the Pixel Fold. In any situation, Google substantially decided to only launch the Pixel Fold. While as per Ross, the other smartphone wasn’t considered to be “good enough yet”.

For Samsung, Google’s decision not to come with two foldable devices was no doubt a welcome one. Since it’s forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are expected to bring no major changes or upgrades. Although, Google will surely bring its foldable flip at some point in time. Also, Samsung wants to make sure that it takes the necessary steps to keep it’s foldable attractive and upgraded to the customers.
