Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 Unpacked event could happen in July 2023 instead of the traditional eighth-month showcase. Recently, the colours of the upcoming foldable have been revealed by Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).
The foldable may have Green, Blue, Yellow and Platinum paint options apart from the traditional “Beige, Gray, Light Green and Light Pink.” Further, Young adds the Z Fold 5 could debut in a Blue and Platinum shade beside the Light Blue, Beige and Black colours.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphone will consider a larger display than the current Z Flip 4. The smartphone is tipped to have a 12MP + 12MP camera setup. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 could be “thinner and lighter” because of the new gapless hinge. The phone could have a 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and more.
Now, according to the reliable Twitter tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 crease has not changed, the appearance of UPC does not change, the external screen has not changed and the gap decreases and becomes thinner after folding. Tipster says the Galaxy Z Fold 5 crease is almost the same as Fold 4.
Meanwhile, these are just rumours, we need to wait for the official confirmation and release of the new foldable devices.
