Update 3 – May 25, 2023: The Galaxy S22+ Chile users are now getting the May 2023 security update with the firmware version S906EXXS4CWD4.
Update 2 – May 10, 2023: The Galaxy S22 Series Vietnam users are now getting the May 2023 security update with the firmware version S901EXXS4CWD4.
Update 1 – May 09, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S22 May 2023 security software update is now available in the Netherlands while the Galaxy S21 FE is now getting the bug fix update. According to the information, the Galaxy S22’s latest firmware update is rolling out with the firmware version S90xBXXS4CWD3.
The May 1, 2023, Android security bulletin includes fixes for 72 security flaws that affect a wide array of devices. Three fixes are specific to Exynos chips as they can also be found in the S22 series, and which may be the finishing touch following the ‘ modem leak’ that surfaced in March. Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE back in 2022 with Android 12. The device received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in late 2022. It also recently received the One UI 5.1 update a few weeks ago. The smartphone will also get an Android 14-based One UI 6 update later this year.
