Update 1 – May 23, 2023: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 were launched last August. The Korean giant isn’t standing still though, as rumours are already starting to surface about what we should expect in its successor, the Z Fold 5. Currently, the launch date is rumoured to be on July 26 (Unpacked event in Seoul).
Now, ahead of the official launch, it is expected that the company will soon launch the Galaxy S23 Series new device – Galaxy S23 FE. Tipster @Tech_Reve claims that Samsung to launch the Galaxy S23 FE in select markets ahead of the 2023 foldable phones.
The tipster also confirmed that “The sales of the Galaxy S23 series, which initially saw great success upon its release, have significantly declined in May. It is anticipated that the sales of the Galaxy S23 series in the second quarter will decrease by more than 20% compared to the same period last year.”
Recently, leaked information about the Galaxy Z Flip 5 confirms that the upcoming foldable phone will arrive with a smaller battery, product code EB-BF731ABY, has a rated capacity of 971mAh. Furthermore, the larger battery, model number EB-BF733ABY, has a rated capacity of 2,620mAh. This brings the total rated battery capacity up to 3,591mAh.
