Samsung Galaxy M31 is now getting the May 2023 security patch, which fixes more than seventy security issues. The new firmware for the Galaxy M31 has version M315FXXS3CWD1.
Samsung is currently rolling it out only in India. So, expect to get it in your country in the next few days. Go to Settings » Software Update and click on Download and install to check for the update.

The smartphone was launched in February 2020 with Android 10 (One UI 2.0) onboard. The company promised to offer two major Android OS updates to the smartphone, and it has already rolled out both updates on time. The Galaxy M31, however, will keep getting security updates till 2025.
