Samsung is looking to launch its next-generation foldable phones earlier than expected. This year, South Korean tech is planning to launch the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 foldable devices in July. Ahead of the official launch the ley specifications, renders, cases, protective film and batteries info have already been leaked.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Batteries
Now, according to GalaxyClub, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 battery will soon be slightly smaller than that of its predecessor. The most important change is the ‘distribution’ of the capacity between the two batteries.
As per the certifications in various countries confirmed that these are probably the batteries with product codes EB-BF731ABY and EB-BF733ABY. The first model’s rated capacity is 971 mAh (small). The second one which is larger has a capacity of 2620 mAh. In total, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a rated battery capacity of 3591 mAh. For your information, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has 3595 mAh on board.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 Specifications – Leaked
As per the last leak, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 was said to feature a 3.4-inch cover screen with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels and a pixel density of 305 PPI. For your information, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 had a 1.9-inch screen with a resolution of 260 x 512 pixels and a pixel density of 302 PPI. The company is also looking to bring a new hinge mechanism.
