Galaxy S21 FE May 2023 security update rolling out in the Netherlands

Samsung has now released the May 2023 security update for its Galaxy S21 FE in the Netherlands. The latest update brings new security features and improvements to the smartphone. The update has already started rolling out in other countries as well.

The new security patch includes fixes for over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones, making the Galaxy S21 FE more secure and reliable for users. The update bumps up the phone’s firmware version to G990BXXS4EWE3, and users can install it by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and Install.

To recall, the South Korean tech giant introduced the Galaxy S21 FE with Android 12 and it is also expected to get Android 14 and Android 15.  The Galaxy S21 FE sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display, a 32MP front-facing camera, and a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 12MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.  Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Samsung Exynos 2100 processor.
