WhatsApp Android version crashing sending a specific message to a subscriber via app

Prior to the official announcement, the Chat Lock feature was spotted with version number 23.9.0.71 update in the recent WhatsApp Beta testing. In the same contest, we have reported that the feature will be soon there in the great messaging App for use.

Stamping the news WhatsApp post on an official blog adds a Chat Lock feature that will ensure your most private conversations are under control. This new Chat Lock feature protects your most intimate conversations behind one more layer of security. The massaging company affirmed that the Chat Lock feature work through your device password or biometrics like a fingerprint or Face ID. Resulting which one could lock a chat, it will be taken out of your inbox and put in its own folder.

We think this feature will be great for people who have reason to share their phones from time to time with a family member or those moments where someone else is holding your phone at the exact moment an extra special chat arrives. You can lock a chat by tapping the name of a one-to-one or group and selecting the lock option. To reveal these chats, slowly pull down on your inbox and enter your phone password or biometric.

The blog post company also embeds a video that visually lets you know about the recently arrived feature. Saying that “for your eyes only With Chat Lock you don’t have to worry about anyone reading something they’re not supposed to when you can keep your chats in a private folder, and password-protected.” Take a look at the feature in the official video below.

Well, this feature is just the start of the company plans, it says over the next few months. It plans to add the ability to lock chats on companion devices as well as allow users to create a custom password for chats that is different than the passcode used for your phone.

For now, Chat Lock is out now for WhatsApp on iOS and Android. Just you need to update an App and go for the experience of the feature.
