Samsung delivering the May 2023 One UI patch in Europe

Samsung started sharing Epic May 2023 One UI patch updates with the Galaxy S series in Europe. The flagships are getting monthly updates including Galaxy S23, followed by the S22 and S21 series, in the continent. At present, Samsung heads rolling out a patch for Galaxy S20 at there. It is delivering updates on its Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, or S20 Ultra smartphone to consumers in Europe.

Before the time last month, it already passes the May 2023 patches to Galaxy A10e. This new software comes with the same security improvements Samsung served to the newly released Galaxy S23 flagships.

In a way to further improve security on the Galaxy-exclusive One UI software and native services, the company included 21 SVE items. Additionally, the package comes with fixes for over 58 common vulnerability exposures for the Android operating system.

The latest software is now available in select countries in the European regions. If you also have one, trigger manual software download now to boost the reliability of the system. It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S20 series users in Brazil received the May patches four days ago.

The thing that needs to keep in mind is that the Android 14 update to the Galaxy S20 series will not be released as decided by Samsung. Because the lineup came preloaded with Android 10 and received a total of three major OS upgrades, completing the software lifespan.

Well, this is no doubt that the device will continue to receive more new security patches for at least another year. Hope you guys like the news. Stay tuned to know more via @Samnews24…
