Google just launched several of its big AI-focused updates to Search, Workspace, Apps, and Products at Google I/O, and you can now sign up to test them on a dedicated Labs page. The company has officially announced that in Android 14 you are going to experience a new type of Wallpaper experience within a tap. Yes, you read that right, with Android 14 the lockscreen clocks and gen AI wallpapers are coming and it will give you a cinematic view on home your device’s home screen.
Google also launches Pixel 7a which is available starting today at just $499 and the Pixel tablet at $499. Android 14 is getting a customizable lockscreen from clocks with several styles to app shortcuts (Flashlight, Wallet, QR scanner, etc.) in the bottom corners.
You can now easily select emojis as per your choice to create a background with different pattern and color options. When you tap those emojis you selected will automatically move.
Cinematic Wallpapers will create a 3D image from any wallpaper. On-device neural networks generate depth with a parallax effect. It’s coming first to Pixel phones starting next month.
