Samsung has finally released the astrophotography feature on the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra through the Expert RAW app. The feature was first introduced on the Galaxy S22 series.
With the help of astrophotography mode, you can take long exposure shots of the stars and the sky. The feature is also expected to arrive in Galaxy S20 and S21 Series.
In order to install the latest update on your Galaxy S21, S21+, or S21 Ultra, you will need to download the latest version of Expert RAW from the Galaxy Store. The April 2023 security update is important to experience the astrophotography mode. Check the latest update via Settings > Software update menu.
The new astrophotography feature let you allow to capture clear and bright photos of stars. It also brings pinpoints that show groups of stars. The Expert RAW also offers a Multi-Exposure feature, which allows you to capture multiple shots of the same scene and then overlay them on top of each other.
