At AWE (Appliance & Electronics World Expo) 2023), Samsung launches 89-inch micro LED for the first time in China. Some across, 1,200 global companies participate in showcasing cutting-edge technologies and trends, in AWE as it is the world’s three major home appliance and electronics industry fairs, and it is an event to identify trends and consumer needs in the Chinese market.
From April 27 to 30, targeting the market with super-premium products, China’s largest consumer electronics exhibition held at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).
Samsung launches 89-inch micro LED at AWE, China
Samsung will continue to introduce its products to Korea, the Middle East, North America, and Europe, starting with the first release of the 89-inch Micro LED in the Chinese market this year.
Last year company launched a 110-inch micro LED in China, that received favorable reviews from consumers. This year, the company plans to expand its lineup to 76, 101, and 114-inch products to broaden consumer choices and target the ultra-high-definition, ultra-large product market, soon after starting with the 89-inch micro LED launch.
Kim Chul-ki, vice president of Samsung Electronics visual display division, said.
“At AWE 2023, China’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, we were able to showcase Samsung TV technology through various products such as Micro LED, NEO QLED, and OLED.” “We are going to dominate the super-premium TV market in China.”
Micro LED can be installed in the form of a module, so the shape, proportion, and size can be freely adjusted, allowing the user to complete a customized screen. It delivers the best picture quality by emitting light and color on its own without a backlight or color filter. However, compared to the existing TVs, there is no bezel. Therefore it provides an immersive viewing experience that makes it impossible to distinguish the boundary between the wall and the screen in any environment.
Additionally, Samsung captured more limelight while introducing NEO QLEDㆍOLEDㆍLifestyle TV, Bespoke Living Appliances, and also, the Galaxy S23 series, to Micro LED at this AWE 2023 exhibition.
