Samsung started rolling out the April 2023 security update for several Galaxy S and A series devices. Now, the same update is rolling out to the Galaxy A71 5G Verizon bounded devices in the US.

According to the latest update changelog, the new software update for Galaxy A71 5G bumps up the firmware version to A716VSQS6GWD1. The update includes the April 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws that were found in Galaxy phones, including some critical ones related to Exynos chips and modems.
