US-China Rivalry become more Intense in Semiconductor Sector

With the Chinese government supervising Micron Technology. Whereas on the other side, the U.S. government told Samsung and SK Hynix through the South Korean government to not acquire the position of the US company. The decision is made because the Chinese government bans the sales of U.S. products in China respectively.

While the news with respect to the supervision came out later this month. Noticeably, this is the time when both Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix were speculated to be able to expand their sales in China. Especially, at this crucial time when the venture of Micron technology is banned in China.

Although, those expectations have passed from sight after the of-late news. Moving ahead it also proclaims that the U.S. government will start to sway South Korean companies’ business in China. This is due to the U.S.-China rivalry in the sector, which also seems to be intense more.

This administer is certainly affects both Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. They have invested more than 70 trillion won (US$53 billion) in China. Ahead of this year, Samsung Electronics sales in the Chinese semiconductor market add up to 31.5 trillion won (US$24 billion). And coming to that of SK Hynix which was 16.32 trillion won (US$12.28 billion), respectively.
