On April 18, 2023, Samsung Electronics officially introduced a limited edition design ‘Bespoke Refrigerator’ in collaboration with the Italian creative studio ‘TOILETPAPER’ at ‘ Fuorisalone’. Back in 2010, Toilet Paper an art magazine founded by artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari.
Toilet Paper Art Director Micol Talso said, “Samsung Electronics’ Bespoke and Toilet Paper started collaborating with the common ground of striving to express my own taste beyond existing values.”
The limited-edition Bespoke refrigerator is available at the Samsung Electronics showroom in ‘Puori Salone’ as well as at ‘TOILETPAPER HOME’ and ‘TOILETPAPER Apartment’, the headquarters of Toiletpaper located in Milan.
Choi Ik-soo, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Household Appliances Division, said, “Bespoke Refrigerator, which has been collaborating with various domestic and foreign artists since 2019, is targeting Italy, the home of design, through collaboration with Toilet Paper this year. ” It will serve as an opportunity to further spread the identity of bespoke home appliances that can be changed to the European market. ”
