Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could feature variable aperture F1.2 to 4.0

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was launched couple of months ago, but rumours of the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra have started appearing online. Now according to the Twitter tipster Tech_Reve, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could ditch the standalone 3x telephoto lens.

The tipster says the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a Wide-angle camera with variable aperture F1.2 to 4.0. and there will be telephoto camera variable zoom.

According to several leaks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra may launch with a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4nm Exynos 2400 chipset is a possibility) though it’s unlikely this chip will be available for devices sold in the U.S.

The smartphone is said to feature a new image sensor with lots of new technology. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series isn’t going to arrive until the start of 2024, at the earliest, so there’s a long time to wait before we get any confirmation on this particular rumour.  The tipster has predicted that Samsung might team up with Sony for the S25 camera sensor, using an IMX890 unit that could even end up being called something like “IMX890 for Galaxy”.
Meanwhile, the company is gearing up to the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
