Last week, Samsung released the April 2023 security update to the Galaxy A54 users in Brazil. Now, the company is expanding the update to more countries. The Galaxy A54 smartphone is now getting the April 2023 security update in the Netherlands.
The latest software update is rolling out with firmware version A546BXXS2AWC6. According to the Samsung security bulletin, the April 2023 security patch included in this update fixes over 60 security flaws, including the ones affecting Exynos chips and modems. Install the latest software update on your device by tapping on Settings and choose Download and Install there to start the process manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A54 5G with a 6.4-inch FHD + display, supports 120Hz adaptive refresh and 1000 nits. Under the hood, the smartphone is launched with Exynos 1380 processor, which is 20% higher than the previous generation CPU and 26% faster than the GPU. Up to 1TB microSD card expansion. It is packed with a 5000mAh battery, and supports 25W charging.
For optics, the device gets a 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 12MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it comes with 32MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
