Samsung donates 3 billion won for restoration of forest fire damage

Samsung has officially announced that it will 3 billion won to comfort residents of the pain caused by the recent large-scale forest fire and help restore the damage.

According to the official information, Eight Samsung affiliates, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung SDS, Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and Samsung C&T joined for the donation, and the relief donations will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross. Samsung will donate to areas including Gangneung, Chungnam, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonnam, which suffered huge damage from forest fires this month.

Also, for residents in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon who suffered from heavy rains in August of last year, they donated 3 billion won, provided 5,000 disaster relief kits, and provided free inspection services for flooded home appliances.
