Samsung is now rolling out the Image Clipper feature from the Galaxy S23 series to its older Galaxy devices. More precisely, the Galaxy S22 Series is now finally receiving a big update in the Netherlands. The device has already received the April 2023 security update in the US.
According to the changelog, the update is rolling out with the firmware version S90xBXXU4CWCG in the Netherlands. The update also contains 51 improvements for the Android OS. Among the 23 fixes that Samsung adds itself, three are explicitly intended for the security of Exynos chipsets.
Image Clipper is a new Gallery feature that Samsung introduced with One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy S23 series. It lets you quickly crop out part of an image. You can press and hold onto an object in the image with your finger or the S Pen (on supported models) and it will be cropped out instantly.
