Samsung introduced the Image Clipper feature with the Galaxy S23 Series running One UI 5.1. Earlier it was confirmed that the feature will be available for more than 15 older devices. Now, this feature is finally available for the Galaxy S22 Series and the update is rolling out in Europe with the build number CWCG.
With the help of Image Clipper, you can tap, hold, and instantly crop objects from photos using the Gallery app. After crop, you can use that image and paste it as a new image.
The feature will soon be available for the Galaxy S21, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold, Z Flip 3 and 4 series, and the original Galaxy Z Flip. Meanwhile, the One UI 5.1 running Galaxy tablets may also receive Image Clipper soon.
