Samsung April 2023 security patch released with over 65 fixes

Samsung has officially released the first April 2023 security patch to its Galaxy S23 smartphone and soon it will release for more smartphones and tablets as the company has detailed the April 2023 security patch.

The April 2023 security patch from Samsung includes 51 security bug fixes released by Google. On top of those, Samsung has added 15 more fixes for security loopholes in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. That takes the total security fixes included in Samsung’s April 2023 security patch to 66. Four fixes are critical, while 46 are marked ‘high’ and one is marked as moderate.

The April 2023 Samsung security details include fixes for CertByte (affected version Android 11, 12, 13), arbitrary code, arbitrary file access, Exynos Fastboot USB Interface (affected version Android 11, 12, 13 Exynos devices), SemClipboard, SLocation (WiFI network location), BROWSABLE attribute, a vulnerability in Telephony, Error in 3GPP specification implementation in Exynos baseband and vulnerability in TIGERF trustlet.
