[U: UAE] Galaxy S20 and S21 March 2023 security patch rolling out

Update 5 – March 31, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra users in the UAE are now able to install the March 2023 security patch with the firmware version G998BXXS6EWBB.

Update 4 – March 31, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone users in India are now getting March 2023 security patch in India with the
firmware version G998BXXS6EWBB.

Update 3 – March 29, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus smartphone users in India are now getting March 2023 security patch in India with the firmware version G985FXXSFHWB1.

Update 2 – March 13, 2023: Samsung has started rolling out the March 2023 security patch to the Galaxy S21 devices in the UK with the firmware version EWBB. Recently the update was released in the Netherlands.

Update 1 – March 08, 2023: Samsung has started rolling out the March 2023 security patch to the Galaxy S20 devices. The South Korean tech giant first rolled out the March 2023 security patch update to the Galaxy S23 and S22 users in Europe.

Now the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 owners are receiving the latest March 2023 security patch from Samsung. The update only contains the latest patch and it is rolling out with the firmware versions G980FXXSFHWB1 and G99xBXXS6EWBB respectively.

The March 2023 security patch from Samsung includes over 45 security bug fixes released by Google and 11 fixes for Samsung security in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. If you own the Galaxy S20 or S21, head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install to grab the latest security patch for your phone.
