Exclusive: RAM increase for Galaxy flagships may start with S24

The popularity of streaming is growing and modern devices now need more storage. For instance, if you have the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with you and you might be noticed that to take pictures, you require a good 50 MB of storage space per image. In 2023, Samsung had already responded to data storage.

The latest Galaxy S23 model that still has a base with 128 GB of storage will undoubtedly be replaced by the more storage in Galaxy S24 which will arrive in 2024. There will then be a minimum of 256 GB. However, a further increase in working memory can also be anticipated, at least according to industry sources. For now 8GB of RAM is the minimum and that is also set to change upwards next year. The South Korean tech giant Samsung is said to be planning a RAM upgrade for its flagship smartphones. Usually, the next level is at 12GB of RAM, which could be the new minimum for the Galaxy S24 series. Currently, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a maximum of 12 GB RAM, next year it will maybe be 16 GB.
