Galaxy Z Fold 5 will probably get a challenge from OnePlus’ super-thin foldable

Reportedly, Samsung tends to get more competition from other Androids in terms of foldable of its foldable segment. Brands including Huawei, OPPO, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi have already come up with their foldable smartphones to sabotage Samsung’s Galaxy Z flagship lineup. On the other hand, another Chinese Android smartphone brand, namely OnePlus is braced to present as a potential competitor against Galaxy Z Fold 5.

As per Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus is all set to introduce its high-end foldable smartphone globally in the second half of this year. Subsequently, the same has a large screen, a thin design, and a periscope camera. While the report also suggests that it is basically a rebranded OPPO device that follows a model number OPPO PHN110. And it could be launched as the OnePlus V Fold worldwide.

OnePlus V Fold could be a thinner and better zoom camera than Galaxy Z Fold 5 

The upcoming smartphone will house a 120Hz LTPO OLED foldable screen. And could have a hinge that is very similar to the OPPO Find N2. It means the crease would subsequently be less visible. At the same time, this foldable follows a super thin design. Similar to the Huawei Mate X3 and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. Further, it is predicted to showcase the OnePlus signature Alert Slider switch. And most probably, it is packed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Talking about the OnePlus V Fold back profile then it is speculated to be featured a triple camera setup. The same ascertaining the 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX890), an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera with a periscope lens. On the front dual selfie cameras feature 32MP and 20MP resolution.
