On March 22, 2023, the South Korean tech giant Samsung officially announced that it would start a collaboration service between Samsung Pay and Naver Pay. You can now be able to enjoy more benefits on online and offline payment experiences.
Samsung noted “Samsung Pay users will be able to use simple payment through Samsung Pay at Naver Pay online ordering merchants, including 550,000 Naver Smart Store. When you click ‘ General Payment ‘ to order a product at a Naver Pay online ordering merchant, a separate ‘ Samsung Pay ‘ menu is created, and through this, you can pay with Samsung Pay more quickly and conveniently.”
The Naver Pay’s offline payment experience is also expected to be implemented in March 2023.
Naver Pay users will be able to use Naver Pay’s offline payments through Samsung Pay’s MST ( Magnetic Security Transport ) payment method at all offline merchants across the country where payments can be made with Samsung Pay. The two companies will continue to cooperate for a more convenient digital life for users in the payment and wallet sectors.
