Samsung is rapidly working on the latest security updates to Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The March 2023 security patch is already released to over 15 Galaxy devices. Now, the South Korean tech giant has added another device the Galaxy A52 to the list.
As per the changelog, the update only contains a security patch while there are no other changes in One UI. The new firmware version for the Samsung Galaxy A52 is rolling out with build number A526BXXU2EWB5. Currently, the update is rolling out in the Netherlands and the update should reach other markets, including the US, in the coming days and weeks. In March 2023 security patch, the company fixed 40 security of the Android OS. One of them was labeled ‘critical’, and is specific to phones with a processor from Qualcomm – such as the A52.
If you are a Galaxy A52 user, you can download and install the new update on your phone by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Meanwhile, the 4G variant is still on the February 2023 security patch and recently it also received the One UI 5.1 update.
