Samsung Care+ provides better device protection in case of accidental damage. We currently use laptops, tablets and smartphones in our daily business process and to keep safe our data we must protect our devices with Samsung’s Care+. Samsung Electronics GmbH is now offering its business customers the option of taking out Samsung Care+ for Business ADH for their mobile Samsung devices.
No doubt there are several insurance policies for smartphones available that showcase demand for protection for portable devices, particularly in the business environment. Samsung Care+ for Business ADH is used, among other things, when physical handling damage occurs, for example due to the smartphone falling or water damage.
Samsung Care+ for Business ADH is an insurance specifically designed for business use. In the event of damage, the devices are repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. “In this way, companies can prepare for technical and mechanical incidents and protect against unintentional damage. The support options are based on the individual processes in the company,” says Holger Dohrmann, Product & Solution Manager B2B at Samsung Electronics.
Uncomplicated solutions
Samsung Care+ for Business ADH insurance is offered by Servify, a global product lifecycle management platform. In the event of an insured event, the insurance includes either hardware repairs with original parts by trained technicians or the replacement of the insured device. Samsung Care+ for Business ADH customers can easily assert these claims. To do this, IT professionals can open a service claim through their Samsung Knox portal or call the toll-free number and file a claim with the service center. This then determines the insurance cover and starts the claims processing process.
Long term benefit
Generally, the average life cycle of a business device is two years or more. So in this case Samsung also offers its device insurance with repair service for business customers after the two-year manufacturer’s warranty has expired and, with Samsung Care+ for Business ADH, grants extended protection against failure for three years.
What’s the cost?
According to the Samsung Care+ plans, it is available at 50 euros per device for three years of coverage. Also, Samsung Care+ Business ADH has been available in Germany since November 2022.
