WhatsApp is now getting a new beta update with several enhancements. Recently, we reported that the most popular chat application is testing a new Calling shortcut, Pinned Messages features. Now, the WhatsApp Messenger 2.23.6.12 beta app is rolling out and it added support for voice status.
WhatsApp Messenger 2.23.6.12 beta Changelog
Introducing Voice Status – you can now record a voice note and share it to Status. Go to Status tab > tap the “pencil” icon > and hold the “microphone” icon to record.
• You can now quickly mute conversations from incoming notifications without opening WhatsApp. Tap on “Mute” in the notifications quick actions and the chat will be muted.
