Samsung Launches Bespoke Top-Mounted Freezer Refrigerator

The South Korean tech giant Samsung officially announced the global launch of the Bespoke Top-Mounted Freezer (TMF) refrigerator. It will be first available in Thailand in late March, the company says, the new refrigerator will expand to regions all over the world by the end of the year.

The all-new Bespoke TMF refrigerator comes with stylish design and texture options to help give every kitchen a unique and stylish decor. Equipped with the latest in freshness technologies and energy saving, it makes food storage convenient, efficient and flexible.

Energy Saving With AI Energy Mode [SmartThings]

Samsung’s SmartThings let use control their home devices easily. Energy Mode uses AI to keep track of usage patterns and power consumption of the Bespoke TMF. AI Energy Mode then analyzes the data to provide useful insights through the SmartThings app to help the user proactively save energy.

Storage

The Bespoke TMF refrigerator is launched with 20 liters more storage capacity than previous models with no extra exterior bulk.

Notes

Launch markets for the Bespoke model include Arab Emirates, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam in the first half of 2023, followed by Italy in the second half of 2023.

SmartThings Energy currently works with around 40 Samsung home appliances that are SmartThings enabled. These include air conditioners, air purifiers, clothes dryers, cooktops, dishwashers, energy meters, hoods, microwave ovens, refrigerators, TVs (from June 2022), vacuum cleaners and washing machines.
