In January 2023, Samsung rolled out the Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update to the Galaxy A13 in the international market which also included the November 2022 security patch. Now, the company is rolling out the January 2023 security patch update to the device in South Africa.
Samsung Galaxy A13 update comes with firmware version A135FXXS3BWA1. If you haven’t received it, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. The January patch itself contains 50 security fixes for the Android system and 20 for Samsung’s One UI software. Work is being done on Wi-Fi and NFC, the Knox system, the Secure Folder, and the Phone app.

For your information, the South Korean tech giant Samsung launched the Galaxy A13 in March 2022 with Android 12 onboard. The Galaxy A13 will get Android 14 later this year.
