Accoridng to the latest information, Google Play Store is finally working on fully integrating Material You dynamic colors. Yes, you read that right, earlier the navigation bar and the search bar on the home page were only selected. Now, you will soon be able to see the Google Play Store fully Material You design.
The changes will appear in version 34.7.10-21. The new MaterialNextBaselineTheming_enable_basaline theming_everywhere server flag is responsible for the activation.
Note that the work has just begun because for now the accent is fixed only on the blue color. Material You is Google’s latest design language for Android, Chrome OS, Wear OS, and beyond. Over the last couple of months, we have seen Google steadily updating many of its popular apps with Material You elements.
Meanwhile, Google Drive gets Material You redesign recently and it looks a lot like Gmail on the web. The lists/grids of files are displayed in a white container that features rounded corners. Various line separators have been removed, while “My Drive” and other section headers are larger.
