Breaking: Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 battery size leaked

Samsung has one of the best smartwatches for Android users and now the company is working on the next Galaxy Watch 6 Series. To date, Samsung has offered a certain recognizable look, iconic rotating bezel and more. However, it seems the company could look to shake things up with its next-generation Galaxy smartwatch.

Now, the first leak of the Galaxy Watch 6 is now uncovered by the GalaxyClub. The regular Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 batteries are said to be larger than the  Galaxy Watch 5, according to certifications in Samsung’s home country of South Korea.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 batteries: Moderately larger

As per the latest report, in South Korea, Samsung already had the batteries of the two basic models certified. The Galaxy Watch 6 model numbers are SM-R93x and SM-R94x. The first is the 40-millimeter model. Its battery carries product code EB-BR935ABY.

According to the image below, the battery has a typical (advertised) capacity of 300 mAh. The rated capacity is 295 mAh. With the 40 mm version of the Watch 5, these capacities are 284 and 276 mAh respectively.

The 44 mm version of the Watch 6 has a product code EB-BR945ABY. The battery size is 425 mAh and the rated capacity is 412 mAh.
