Galaxy S23 FE with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1

According to the Korean tipster, Samsung will ship the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset is much better in comparison to the 8 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset uses TSMC’s 4nm process and offers better performance and power efficiency.

As per data stats, the Galaxy S21 FE sale was lowered than the Galaxy S20 FE 5G. The key reason was the usage of the Exynos 2100 chipset which had throttling issues.

Currently, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is used on the Galaxy S23 lineup.  There are rumors regarding the smartphone that Samsung might price it around USD 150 lesser than the Galaxy S23 smartphone. The Galaxy S23 retails for USD 799.99 (approximately Rs 66,265), so the FE should be priced around USD 649.99 (approximately Rs 53,840).
