According to the latest information via GDNet, Samsung Display Vice President Sung-Chan Jo confirmed at the ‘Display Technology Blueprint Presentation’ held by the Korea Display Industry Association in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 21st. He said, “Mobile phones, which were big and heavy like bricks in the past, have evolved into foldable smartphones.”
He explained, “Before the coronavirus infection (Corona 19) spread, most people worked in one office or workspace, but now they don’t stay in one place.” At the same time, he said, “We will make consumers think, ‘If it’s not us (Samsung),'” he emphasized, “We will spread foldable devices widely.”
