Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A33 smartphones are now receiving the January 2023 security patch update in the Netherlands. The update also includes bug fixes and system optimization.
According to the changelog, Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A33’s latest firmware updates are rolling out with build numbers G990BXXU2DWA4 (or G990B2XXU1DWA4)and A336BXXS4BWA1 respectively.
The January patch itself contains 50 security fixes for the Android system and 20 for Samsung’s One UI software. Work is being done on Wi-Fi and NFC, the Knox system, the Secure Folder, and the Phone app.
If you are a Galaxy S21 FE user you can download it via Settings -> Software Update -> Download and install. The Galaxy S21 FE smartphone was launched with Android 12 (One UI 4.1) onboard. Recently, the smartphone was updated to Android 13 (One UI 5.0). The Galaxy S21 FE is also eligible to get Android 14 and Android 15 updates.
