These devices getting Samsung bypass charging

It seems like Samsung is about to provide bypass charging to its older smartphones, this is via an update to its Game Launcher app. This feature is being spotted first on the Galaxy S23 series. Whereas it’s now expected to come in the Galaxy S22 devices as well, along with Galaxy Z fold models and a few other handsets. Alternatively, Samsung has not revealed yet which handsets will have this capability. While it is also possible to roll this feature for more devices in the future. So far, this feature is exclusive to Galaxy S23 devices.

The news came into highlight by some sources after being updated to the Game Launcher app with the latest version. Although, there doesn’t appear any continuous pattern when it comes to the release. Since it is being found in a few regions and in a few models only. Therefore, there’s a need to see this feature pop up like Galaxy S23 Ultra.

As of now, the feature seems to appear on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Fold 3, and Z Fold 2. Along with Galaxy S22 devices and the Galaxy A73 5G respectively. Also, if it is displayed on your unit then make sure that the Game Launcher app is updated to the most latest release, with version 5.0.03.0. Meanwhile, it is been observed that the feature is only being displayed after using a Samsung 45W PD charger. On the other hand, it is probably a coincidence, as it is enabled by using any Power Delivery (PD) charger.

Step’s to check

If you want to check for yourself, just head into the Game Launcher after the update, and head into the Game Booster settings. From there, you should see an option for “Pause USB Power Delivery.” If this is available, toggle it on to enable bypass charging. Just make sure to use a PD charger and that your device has over 20 percent battery life.

Moving ahead, the steps to check it by yourself are just heading toward the Game Launcher after the update and then moving to the Game Booster settings. There you probably see an option for “Pause USB Power Delivery.” If you succeed to find this then toggle it, in order to enable bypass charging.
