Samsung One UI 5.1 software packs several new features on the Galaxy S23 series, but one feature that seems to be important in the older model is the ability to pull objects out of photos. Unfortunately, the feature is currently limited to the Galaxy S23 Series. Several Galaxy S22 users are complaining that after installing the latest One UI 5.1 package the feature is missing.
One UI 5.1 does not bring the ability to lift subjects from a photo/video on my Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It is a Galaxy S23 series-exclusive feature for now, I guess.

In Galaxy S23 Series this feature works quite simply in the Samsung Gallery app. You need to open a photo and long-press on an object. Objects can be pulled from the image and the ending cutout is pretty clean. It works the same as iOS. You can easily copy that object and paste it into other apps. You can also save the image to your device, or share it directly with other apps.
Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the official One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy S22, S21, S20, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 4, Flip 3, S20 FE, and more.
